So he has finally proposed, and as the excitement starts to kick in, you start thinking about your future together, and, more importantly the Wedding. The day that you have dreamed about since you were a little girl, playing dress up and picturing yourself marrying Price Charming. There are so many things that are running through your mind - where will I get married? How will I choose a reception venue? How much will it cost? When should I send out my invites? How will I know what to do on the day, and have I forgotten something important?
As most of us don’t have the luxury of time, trying to research and arrange everything yourself can be a daunting prospect, which is where we come in. We offer a complete, bespoke service to couples that want some assistance planning their big day. Offering everything you could possibly need from venue searching, supplier negotiation and budget management, venue styling, shopping days, on the day co-ordination and consultancy.
As every couple is different, so is every package that we offer. When we negotiate discounts with suppliers, many of which are already in place, Hand Maid Weddings do not take a commission and so all savings are passed directly on to you, which often offsets the cost of the service!
Services & Fees
Perfect Day - The Full Planning Package
“Perfect Day” is the full planning package, from start to finish and includes everything that you could need, from managing your budget, and helping you to secure the perfect venue, negotiating and securing you the very best photographer, entertainment & catering, and helping you to remember those all important meetings (even attending those “less important meetings” on your behalf)! Of course this package also includes a full days attendance, so that I can make sure you have a good breakfast, and that everything is in place and you can enjoy your day to it’s fullest. The price of this package is 12 - 15% of your budget (minimum fee applies).
During your initial consultation you will decide how involved you want me to be, and we will set your budget and also the cost of the service and what is included. Nothing is ever decided on your behalf, I am just here to guide you. I will work with your ideas and use them to create your perfect day. With discounts from all recommended suppliers you will find that the cost of full planning is minimal, making it a priceless service. Perfect Day planning is subject to availability.
Saving Grace - Mid way through planning package
“Saving Grace” is perfect for those of you that have already started to plan your big day, but are feeling overwhelmed and need someone to step in and sort through everything in the final month or two before the Wedding. Confirming details with your suppliers, making sense of paperwork, meeting with your reception venue to discuss final details and making sure that nothing has been missed, this package will help to put you at ease. Prices for this package will vary, but an agreed rate would be set after the initial free consultation. On the day attendance may also be available with this package, subject to availability at an additional charge.
Individual Consultations
For those couples that are confident enough to plan everything themselves, but just want some advice before the planning starts, or confirmation that nothing has been missed just before the big day, individual consultations are also available, which are charged at an hourly rate of £40.
